As promised in the previous post here are a couple of pictures that I took of the dragonfly that I found on a weekend excursion to the hardware store in my neighborhood. It seems to have lost some of it's pretty iridescent sapphire blue coloration but it is still in tact. Who knows maybe I will mount it and frame it to preserve it. If you click on the picture you can see a closer view and more detail, see the segmented body and forked tip. The four wings are so delicate and lace like, it's amazing that I found this small insect in one piece.
